Celebrate the Spirit of Fall at The Highlands Harvest Fest

Embrace the Autumn Magic at The Highlands

Northern Michigan in the Autumn season is a special time when the leaves turn shades of gold, poppy red, and orange, and the community comes together with events and activities. One cherished Harbor Springs tradition is The Highlands Harvest Fest.

What to Expect at Harvest Fest

Family-Friendly Fun:

There is no need to choose just one or two activities! Your Harvest Fest ticket gives you access to all the family-friendly events. Enjoy having the whole family get their faces painted, and then head over to our photo booth to get the family photo of the year. Or try your hand at cookie decorating and see who can use the most sprinkles.

Enjoy other activities like:

Burlap Sack Racing, Mini Horseback Rides, Quick Zip, Pumpkin Ring Toss, Yard Games, Toy in a Haystack, S'mores, Juggler, & More!

For the Adults:

We didn't forget about you! Groove to the beats from DJ T-Bone, catch up with friends, decorate a cookie and maybe a pumpkin if you're feeling festive, or throw a few games of pumpkin ring toss. Be sure to join in on whiskey tasting sponsored by Jim Beam.

If you want a challenge, join us for the Midwest Regional IFOSH Championship (stein hoisting). We CHALLENGE you to hold your steins the longest. The best part? If you win, you'll have bragging rights for the year and a $200 gift card.

Food & Beverage: A Taste of Fall

Smoked brisket, homemade chili, and bratwurst are peak fall comfort foods. Stop by the food tent for a beverage or two and sample the best of fall.

Food and drinks are an additional cost, but we will have complimentary cider and doughnuts. After all, is it the fall season if you don't have a good doughnut or two with a sip of local cider?

Scenic Chairlift Ride: A Highlight of the Day

Who knew ski lifts weren't just for winter? Hop on the Heather Express and take in the breathtaking views on our scenic chairlift ride. As you ascend, you'll be surrounded by the vibrant colors of fall—golden yellows, deep reds, and fiery oranges. This ride offers the perfect opportunity to see northern Michigan's autumn beauty from a whole new perspective. Don't forget to bring your camera; the panoramic views from the top are Instagram-worthy.
