The Enchanted Trail at The Highlands offers a magical winter walk through the woods, perfect for families and adventurers alike. As you wind through the trail, the crisp winter air and quiet of the woods create a sense of calm and wonder.
At the end of the trail, you'll find a cozy yurt, where you can warm up by the fire, enjoy a hot drink, and take in the festive atmosphere. It's an unforgettable experience that combines the magic of winter with the charm of The Highlands.
Your Walk
The trail is approximately 2 miles round trip, well-groomed and packed down. Plan on around 1.5 hours for your Enchanted Trail experience. Walking each way takes 25-30 minutes, and you'll want to spend some time in the yurt or around the fire at the midway point.
- Indulge in complimentary hot cocoa and s'mores at the yurt.
- Enjoy adult beverages at the yurt's cash bar.
- A portable restroom is available in the yurt area.
- Feel free to invite your dog along—we kindly ask that dogs always remain on a leash. And please pick up after your 4-legged friend throughout the entire experience.
