Group Sales Team

Meet The Highlands' sales team, a dedicated group with over 30 years of experience helping small to large groups plan and execute memorable events.  

  • Vice President of Sales

    Judy Booth

    Judy has been in hotel sales for 30 years. She has worked with several hotel companies, including Hilton, Hyatt, and, most recently, Marriott. She spent 16 years with the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center as their Director of Sales and Marketing. Judy also enjoyed representing destinations with her jobs at the Detroit CVB and Windsor CVB in the National Association market. Judy sits on the board for the Petoskey Convention & Visitors Bureau.

    Brie Woodhouse

    Brie has been with Boyne Resorts since 2004, serving in several different capacities, such as Restaurant and Event Manager and Assistant Membership Director, before moving onto the Michigan sales team in 2010 as a Wedding Sales Manager. After growing that market between all three resorts, she moved into a National Sales Manager role, and eventually handling Michigan Associations. She also sits on the Board of Directors for Meeting Professional International's Michigan Chapter.

    Joe Arnold

    Joe Arnold is the National Sales Manager and Golf Sales Manager for Boyne Mountain, The Highlands, and the Inn at Bay Harbor. Joe joined the Boyne Sales Team in January 2015. He graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and a Sales concentration in 2013. He has worked in various capacities in the golf and ski industry prior to joining our team. Joe enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family. 

  • National Sales Manager

    Brian Main

    Brian is our Sales Manager for ski and team sports. He has been with Boyne Resorts since 2005, working in marketing, real estate and sales. After graduating from Michigan State University in 2000, Brian lived (as a ski bum) in Breckenridge, Vail, Mammoth Lakes, and the Virgin Islands (traded skiing for windsurfing) before moving back to Michigan. He's still an avid skier, but with two small kids, days on the hill look a little different now. Beyond the slopes, Brian has been coaching lacrosse for the past 18 years and is currently the head coach at Petoskey High School. 

  • National Sales Manager

    Kara Zimmer

    Kara Zimmer is the National Sales Manager covering the Metro-Detroit area and various states. She started her career at Ocean Place Resort & Spa in New Jersey. Back in Michigan, she worked at Motor City Casino Hotel in the Group Sales department. Before joining Boyne, she was the Senior Sales Account Manager at The Inn at St. John's. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Hospitality Business and is an engaged member of the MPI Michigan Chapter, serving on the Board of Directors as Director of Member Care. 

  • State Association Manager

    Brenda Haight

    Brenda has been in destination sales for over 20 years, primarily working with state associations. She aims to help your attendees have a fun and relaxing experience at your meeting or event.  

    She started her career with Discover Kalamazoo and returned to Boyne Resorts after working for the Greater Lansing CVB. She resides in Lansing and enjoys golf, wine tasting, walking the Pure Michigan trails, and spending time with friends and family at the beach. 

  • Administrative Assistant

    Cassandra Blatt

    Cassandra received a Bachelor's in Business Management, with a focus in Hospitality from Northwood University in 2014. She then started her career with Boyne Resorts as a Front Desk Agent at Thr Highlands. Since then, she has held many positions within the Boyne Family. Cassandra is the Group Sales Administrative Assistant working closely with group housing managers as well as providing support to the sales managers on a daily basis.
