Year-Round Safety

DOGS 

• Only trained service dogs or leashed dogs on designated hiking trails in the summer are allowed.
• Hiking with your pets can be fun and rewarding; be sure to keep your pet on a leash.
• Practice “Leave No Trace” ethics and clean up your dog’s waste.
• Plan for your dog’s and your own needs on the trail. Be prepared with plenty of water, and don’t hike beyond your or your pets’ limits.
• Guests with dogs perceived as bad mannered can be asked to leave the resort property.
• Dogs are not allowed on chairlifts.
• Dogs are not allowed on the mountain during the winter.

DRONES 

We prohibit commercial and recreational users from operating unmanned aerial systems or drones without prior written authorization from The Highlands. For permission, please email marketing@highlandsharborsprings.com.
