Race League

The Highlands 2025 Thursday Night Race League utilizes NASTAR Team Scoring System along with participation points. Whether you strive to be the fastest skier on the hill or simply enjoy the camaraderie of league racing, you will look forward to each Thursday night. Racing will take place under the lights on the NEW NASTAR Slope, located near the Valley Area.

Race League 2025 Details

Season Kickoff Date: January 9, 2025, and will go through March 6, 2025.

The end-of-the-year party will be held on March 13, 2025, at 7 PM.

$250 per team for the season - you will need a lift ticket or season pass to access the course

NASTAR gives recreational racers an opportunity to compete and compare their scores to friends and family using the NASTAR handicap system. NASTAR racing at The Highlands will take place on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.

Race League FAQ

Each team can have a maximum of 10 racers, comprised of skiers and snowboarders.

Yes, all racers must be at 18 least years of age.

The top 6 scores from each team are used to tally the team score each week. In addition, bonus points for the top 3 fastest male and female racers as well as team participation points will also be available each week. Weekly scores accumulate throughout the season.

Racers can take their suns anytime between 6:30-8 PM. There is not a set start order.

All registration is online. The team captain will register the team and pay the $250 team entry fee. Once done, the team captain will be provided a link via email to forward to the other 9 racers on the team for their individual registration.

Yes, simply go to https://www.nastar.comand sign the seasonal waiver. Log in first if you have a NASTAR ID from a previous season. If you do not have a NASTAR ID, you will need to register and create a NASTAR ID before signing the waiver.

No, a sub can race for any team on any given week. A sub can only race for one team each week.

1 participation point will be awarded to the weekly team score if at least 8 of 10 team members race on any given week. A sub does not count as a team member.

The 3 fastest male and female racers before NASTAR handicap adjustment will be awarded the following extra points for their team.

1st place = 1 point

2nd = .75 point

3rd = .5 point

Yes, a season pass or daily lift ticket is required and is not included in the league entry fee.

After racing each night, the Slopeside Lounge will be open and taking food orders until 9 PM. In addition, we plan to have a night or two where appetizers will be offered to racers depending on sponsorship

Yes, the year-end banquet is scheduled for Thursday, March 13.

Results will be available approximately 30-60 minutes after the last racer finishes. Individual and team results will also be available at NASTAR.com.

Yes, unofficial individual results will be available on Live-Timing.com throughout each race.
